Helichrysum, also commonly called Everlasting, or Immortelle certainly holds its own place in skin care formulations.  Its widely used in facial creams for anti-aging, and for wound/scar and stretchmark treatments.  Doing a quick search on the internet, you can see a many facial products and recipes, all designed around dimminishing scar tissue with this flower.

To extract the benefits thru either oil or water, heat gently and once the flower has “released” into your carrier of choice, strain and use the retained juice inside your formulation.
